IRIS+ je nedvomno quadrocopter za naprednejše uporabnike. Poganja ga 32-bitni avtopilot PIXHAVK, ki ga poganja Cotexov M4 procesov in ima vgrajen GPS z integriranim magnetometrom. Prav zaradi tega ima neomejeno možnosti za letenje in razne nastavitve. Zaradi prednastavitev poti letenja primeren za snemanje iz zraka.

Folow me, kjer vas ob povprejšnji nastavitvi telefona ali tablice plovilo spremlja pri raznih aktivnostih. Možne nastavitve so, da plovilo spremlja premikajoči objekt pred, za, levo ali desno.
Automatic Mission Planning – prednastavljeno letenje s pomočjo vrisa GPS koordinat.
Ne gre zanemariti funkcije, da se plovilo vedno vrne na izhodišče, kar je koristno zlasti pri izgubi signala ali izpraznjeni bateriji.

Tarot T-2D Brushless Gimbal Kit for 3DR IRIS+
The two-axis Tarot Brushless Gimbal pre-calibrated and configurated for 3DR IRIS+ uses cutting-edge gyroscope technology to ensure you get crisp, stable images from your 3DR drone. Designed to accommodate the GoPro HERO 3 and HERO 4 BLACK. The T-2D offers manual camera control from your controller's Tilt knob, but the model you get from 3DR is also specially configured to allow the autopilot to control the camera automatically, which is critical to using applications like 3PV Follow Me mode on IRIS+.
