The Lyd absorbers are our favorite for a variety of applications. Among loudspeakers they help to achieve a more homogeneous and clear spatial sound. The effect is comprehensible, immediately. Used under hifi devices the image becomes more stable.
Because of the combination of different materials and damping rings, high resonance dissipation is accomplished without vibrations from underground of the device. This function is necessary for higher bass precision and for an open and clearly distinguishable sound profile. Try out the Lyd Absorbers with damping rings to the device as well as from the installation surface.

Lyd I

Our most successful absorber can be used optimally in every system. The superior design with precision brass interior components and stainless steel exterior parts, as well as the two damper rings, create excellent resonance transfer without allowing any vibrations to reach the base of the device. This function is necessary for higher bass precision and for an open and clearly distinguishable sound profile

Lyd I and Lyd II additional information
The outer (blue) damping ring is for vibration minimalizing. Try the absorber with the damping ring side to the ground and you minimize vibrations from the device and disconnect the ground. If you use the absorber with the damping ring side to the device you disconnect the device and minimize vibrations from the ground. Some equipment should be disconnected, some connected. You have two ways to find your prefer sound.
The adjustable puck compensates for uneven floor surfaces. The inner component is flexible. They can tilt to the side, if the floor is uneven. If you have an older wooden floor or an uneven tile ground, the lyd can compensate that. That's no height adjustment. The inner component from the lyd is sometimes a little bit tight. So you need a little bit more strength to tilt to the side.

•Set the device feet to the corners of the unit to prevent tipping
•The thread (Lyd I, Lyd II and Exact) is for mounting directly under loudspeakers and hifi-devices. Please don’t place any absorber directly under spikes or serial device feet. Please use absorber in addition (beside) the serial feet or spikes, or change the serial feet with the absorbers
•Classic and NeoFlex have no mounting thread. These feet are placed directly under your hifi-devices
•You can use three or four equipment feet. It depends on the dimensions of the hifi-device or loudspeaker, the load capacity of the equipment feet and their own preference. Both options working as well.
