Description.
HP Gen 7 Micro server. These are good solid basic servers built around a 2.2GHz AMD processor. Each unit has come out of service and been tested and cleaned. Working well they comprise of 4GB RAM and a 250GB HDD. Ideal for small office server applications the Gen 7 can support 4 HDDs in non HotSwap configuration. Ideal for running home NAS applications. Supplied in reasonable condition with some cosmetic marks, otherwise fully functional.
Typical use cases.
These servers are ideal for use in a small or home office due to the small footprint and low fan noise. Designed to be always on they can be used as NAS devices or general purpose office servers. We have seen customers load XPEnology software onto these devices to produce a high spec NAS drive with up to 8TB storage.
